Hi everyone! My name is Jessica Smith and I am originally from Calabasas, CA. This is my second year attending UCSB and I am currently a Communications major but am looking into a change to either Philosophy or Political Science with a goal of eventually attending law school. I chose to come to UCSB mainly because of how much I love California and its weather but also was influenced by my parents who met while attending UCSB! I always involve myself in a lot of activities because I love being busy and currently I am balancing a Marketing and Branding internship for the UCSB Athletics Department as well as a position on the executive board for my sorority Pi Phi. In my spare time I enjoy spending time outdoors as well as checking up on the newest fashion trends. Sunny weather and funny conversations are two of my favorite things so I am really enjoying my time in Isla Vista. When I am at home I love spending time with my family and my new goldendoodle puppy Preseley. This is the most interactive class that I have had at UCSB and I am looking forward to the rest of the quarter!
